POTATO CHOWDER BY CODY BURCUME
3 POTATOES
5 C SOUP
CUT UP POTATOES WITH SKIN ON
PUT POTATOES IN OVEN FOR 1 HOUR
ADD TO SOUP AND EAT
*Almost any soup will do but I tried it with tomato and it was delicious, Cody.

        

CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE BY TANNER COURCELLE
1 BAG OF CHOCOLATE
1 TSP OIL
MIX CHOCOLATE AND OIL
ADD A LITTLE SUGAR
PUT IN CAKE PAN
BAKE 1 HOUR AT 5000 DEGREES
*Obviously there was a typo here, Tanner. (A typo means somebody, NOT YOU, messed up. Probably the editor!) I tried it at 500 degrees with great results.

                 

STRAWBERRY MUFFINS BY HAYLEY MERRILL
1/2 C STRAWBERRIES (CUT IN CHUNKS)
2 C FLOUR
1 C MILK
PUT ON COOKIE SHEET BAKE 10 MINUTES, AT 1 TO 10 DEGREES
*Well, Hayley, some ovens vary but after a little fiddling with the little doohickey that controls the temperature, that muffin was excellent!

                 

PIZZA BY KAITLYN SMITH
2 C FLOUR
1 SCOOP SAUCE
3 SCOOPS WHITE CHEESE
PUT EVERYTHING ON PIZZA PAN COOK 20 MINUTES AT 30 DEGREES
*Kaitlyn, after trying this recipe I contacted Dermot Morgan, at Morgan's 11. He loved the recipe! He says it will save on wood for his wood-fired pizza oven. Expect a call from him soon.

CRACK THE SHELL OPEN PUT EGG IN FRYING PAN
FRY FOR 5 MINUTES
PUT ON A PLATE
*Eggsellent recipe, Danielle. It went great with Brandy's pancakes.

                 

PANCAKES BY BRANDY N STRACK
2 EGGS
2 C FLOUR
MIX TOGETHER COOK ON STOVE FLIP 2 TIMES SERVE WITH BUTTER
*Very tasty, Brandy! I had problems with the double flip at first but after a few practice flips I am now an expert.

                 

HAMBURGERS BY DAVID SULLIVAN
1 5 INCH BALL OF MEAT
PAT AND SMOOTH IT OUT
COOK IN SQUARE PAN FOR 10 MINUTES;
FLIP OVER TWICE
TOP WITH ORANGE CHEESE
* I knew my double flip prowess would come in handy again, David. I substituted Cheez Whiz with excellent results.

                 

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES BY JOSEPH VlSCARDO
2 EGGS
2 C FLOUR
5 C BATTER
MIX ALL TOGETHER
BAKE IN OVEN FOR 25 MINUTES AT 35 DEGREES
*As I said, Joseph, my thermostat doohickey sometimes sticks but I just left the cookies in the oven for an extra couple of minutes and they were delicious!!

                 

CHEESEBURGERS BY DEREK STRACK
2 LBS MEAT
PUT IN OVEN FOR 40 MINUTES AT 20 DEGREES
PUT IN MICROWAVE TO MELT CHEDDAR CHEESE ON TOP
ADD HOT SAUCE AND PICKLES
* I didn't have cheddar cheese, Derek, but good old Cheese Whiz came to the rescue once again. I divided the meat in half, though, to make two nice sized patties. (I didn't have any large hamburger rolls handy.)

3 C FROSTING
5 C SUGAR
5 C BATTER
MIX ALL TOGETHER
PUT IN OVEN AND COOK FOR 4 MINUTES AT 40 DEGREES
*Dominic, my thermostat doohickey seems to be working just fine now but my timer is two minutes slow. It was a little crispy but tasty.

                 

MASHED POTATOES BY LINDSAY REEVE
4 POTATOES
1/2 TSP SALT
4 TSP BACON BITS
COOK POTATOES FOR 1 HOUR IN PAN ON STOVE
 MASH POTATOES W/ MASHER
TOP WITH SALT AND BACON BITS
*Well, Lindsay, your recipe put my usual French's Instant Mashed Potatoes to shame. Maybe they should make them with bacon bits in them.
        
BANANA BREAD BY HANNAH REYELL
       
BUT DOUGH FROM PRICE CHOPPER

FLATTEN DOUGH INTO A MUFFIN SHAPE
BAKE FOR 20 SECONDS AT 99 DEGREES
*Your "Hannah Banana Bread" was GREAT! (I used Grand Union dough to save on gas, though.)

                 

SCRAMBLED EGGS BY CONNOR SMITH
12 EGGS
TAKE OFF EGGSHELLS
PUT IN PAN & ADD 4 INCHES OF WATER
COOK FOR 1 MINUTE
TAKE EGGS OUT, SCRAMBLE THEM, THEN EAT THEM
*Once I got those darned eggshells off, everything went smooth, Connor. I doubled the recipe to serve two. Delicious!!!
